Thought I left the parade out?
Couldn’t do that.
I mean technically it’s a parade
not a game,
so it needs it’s own list.
As a bonus.
Because really,
that’s what a parade is,
a bonus.
June 17, 2024 was the biggest moment 👑
June 21, 2024 was the cherry on top 🍒
And it was sweet!
A glorious day,
which began at the Swampscott Train station
with ben king kahn 🚂
In all my life I had never seen so many people at that train station.
We waited as the expected train arrived 20+ minutes delayed.
Upon arrival, the conductor only let
one person off, nobody on,
as the train station filled up even more.
Fortunately,
a blessing in disguise
forced a quick audible
to the Lynn Ferry.
The packed train turned into a
gorgeous boat ride into Boston 🛥️☀️
Despite the 1963 day parade drought,
Bostonians didn’t skip a beat.
It’s like we had 12xp parades since 2000
Highlights included:
meeting a JT doppelgänger,
winding up on top of a truck
as the duckboats paraded by,
a euphoric feeling
witnessing Jayson Tatum holding the trophy
in person for the first time,
asking fans if this is the
start of a three-peat,
(can’t three-peat without
winning the first!)
snapping dispos all day,
and a feeling of pure jubilation
as the city of Boston
basked in a championship victory
once again.
As a wise man once said,
The
Celtics
Are
The
Balls.
